Vascular Ultrasound dot net is a blog created by Shannon Peron, RDCS, RVT* with the thought of developing a community of vascular ultrasound professionals who are willing to share their knowledge, thoughts and experiences with fellow technologists, students or those interested in gaining knowledge about the field.

The website is moderated on a daily basis by solely my self (Shannon) who will, at all times, treat visitors to this site with respect and courtesy and asks that users reciprocate this courtesy when participating in all areas. The moderator, at any time and at her discretion, may choose to ban any user, without notice, who is deemed offensive. All comments to posts and content will be moderated prior to inclusion.

All visitors to this site, by default, will be considered medical professionals unless stated as such. If a health professional chooses to provide medical information as a user their medical profession must be identified.

Purpose

The purpose of Vascular Ultrasound dot net is to serve as a tool for vascular ultrasound professionals at all stages of their careers to stay abreast of the latest news, information and resources available. It is a goal to provide the highest quality information available. However, due to the interactive nature of this website, it is not possible to assure all information will be complete and up-to-date. Content that is not created by my self and is provided by a third party will be clearly identified as such through the use of labels such as “Guest Post” and will include the name of it’s contributor.

* Shannon is both a Registered Vascular Technologist and a Register Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer with 20 years experience in the healthcare field. She currently supervises a Non-Invasive Cardiology Department in an acute-care hospital in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area.
